After the success of the Racing Livery Chairs and the Red Tool Cabinet we thought it was high time we created a motorsport-themed bar… so we proudly present Bar d’Italia!
Following our usual thorough inspection, repair and preparation stages, we decided on the colour scheme and with some very careful masking tape work, the painting began using Annie Sloan chalk paints. Once completed the paintwork was sealed & protected with wax using various techniques to create the aged patina of old race cars.
The finishing touches were a striking etched steel handle, mirror back to the main compartment and a pair of glass hangers. Clean lines and bold paintwork – just like all the best motorsport icons!
