This set of three tables with reeded legs slide together for storage, and were fully restored & reimagined by Clarity in the Cotswolds.
Painted in Annie Sloane Athenian Black with black & clear wax finish, which in addition to making the black lovely & deep in colour also sealed & protected the tables for durability. The table tops all had toughened glass and were decoupaged with a striking antique London map design.
Finally, gold burnishing highlights were applied selectively to the carved detailing.
Table nests like these make excellent project pieces and can be reimagined to suit any decor. They fell out of fashion, mainly due to usually being dark wood, but with some creative Clarity magic you’ll be amazed how useful they are!
