Something we’ve wanted to experiment with ever since creating the Racing Livery Chairs was a range of children’s bedroom furniture along a similar motorsport theme.
This pine chest of drawers was in reasonable condition when we bought them, but a little repair work always makes a big difference to the finished product. We decided on the colour scheme and with some very careful masking tape work, the drawers were painted in Annie Sloan chalk paint and sealed & protected with clear wax. The finishing touch was to line the drawers with a metal chequerplate effect vinyl, inspired by our Red Tool Cabinet!
