Here’s our one-of-a-kind, uniquely customised vintage wooden children’s chair, which we designed for a nursery or child’s bedroom, or even as a christening gift.
Originally a mid-century school chair made from curved plywood base & back, this piece was sanded, primed and painted in Original Annie Sloan chalk paint and finished in clear wax with a softly distressed effect.
The seat base & back were then decoupaged with Winnie the Pooh character illustrations & sealed with several coats of matt varnish to protect it. Finally, we added 3D wooden lettering to the rear of the back rest.
