London Gent cocktail drinks cabinet bar

The inspiration for this piece was the Victorian gentleman, dapper with top hat & cane! A very distinguished & handsome fellow!

This cabinet was given a new lease of life with Athenian Black Annie Sloan paint and waxed in both clear & black wax to seal the paintwork and ensure long term protection. The original handles were restored & protected, whilst the addition of a striking handle to the lid and gold gilt detailing completed the look.

Paper depicting maps of very early London was decoupaged onto the inner side panels above & below the top fixed shelf, in addition to the inside of the lid and the inside door faces, making this a truly unique statement piece of furniture. An extremely unusual mirror was added to the lid, surrounded by black framing and the paper edges were trimmed in velvet.

This beautiful cabinet has glass hanging racks on the underside of the fixed internal shelf and a black framed mirror back in the main storage & display section, to showcase your favourite spirits when the doors are open. Finally, we added a unique wine rack in the lower section which can hold 6 bottles horizontally.

Dimensions of this piece were: 95cm high (with lid fully open 138 cm), 79cm wide and 46.5cm deep (with desk down, 73cm). If you’d like something similar yourself, please drop us a message.
