Inspired by the Art Deco era, this piece echoes the past whilst being perfect for modern 21st century living.
These small sideboards are great pieces of furniture. Compact in size for those tricky spaces on landings and in hallways, but still able to swallow a surprising amount of stuff! We love them.
We chose our ‘Gatsby’ style for this particularly elegant sideboard and once we’d fully restored the structural elements, we sanded & primed the entire piece.
Painted in Athenian Black Annie Sloan chalk paint, finished with black wax to protect & seal, this piece had gold gilt detailing throughout and antique brass finish handles.
Finally, the addition of the stunning Art Deco paper decoupage, including on the inside of the drawer, gave the finished article a prestige feel.
