This elegant Art Deco style glass cabinet was fully restored and reimagined by Clarity in the Cotswolds.
Painted in Athenian Black Annie Sloan chalk paint, finished with black wax to protect & seal, this piece also had gold gilt detailing. The whole inside back was decorated with stunning Art Deco paper decoupage giving a prestige feel.
Finally, the glass on the door and cabinet sides has a subtle etched design, which reflects the fan elements of the paper decoupage.
Having started life as a display cabinet, this piece has now become an excellent home bar, with the shelves perfectly spaced for storing bottles of various sizes. As with all the Gatsby pieces we’ve created, it didn’t take long for somebody to take it home!
